JCPenney is seeking a Senior Product Designer (Outerwear) to lead end-to-end development for women's and men's outerwear. The role covers concept through production with exposure to DTC and Wholesale, balancing brand collaboration and fast-paced execution for COE-led wholesale assortments.

The ideal candidate brings 5-8+ years in apparel design and a strong grasp of garment construction, tech packs, and cost management in a lifestyle market.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of experience in apparel product development and design.
• Must have proficient knowledge of PDM/PLM, Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel, and understanding of 3D Clo.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction and materials.

Responsabilités

• Manage product development from concept through production readiness.
• Create and maintain tech packs, BOMs in PLM, CADs & Line Sheets.
• Partner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Production and Technical Design for cohesive execution.
• Manage library of fabrics, trims, artwork/graphics and CADs.
• Collaborate with Sourcing to achieve cost and margin targets.
• Track development timelines and push for value engineering to optimize cost, quality, and speed.
