Job summary

Catalyst Brands is seeking an experienced Senior Product Designer (Outerwear) in New York to lead the end-to-end development for women’s and men’s outerwear. This role navigates DTC and Wholesale channels, balancing creative development with speed and cost targets.

You’ll own tech packs, BOMs, and fabric/trims libraries while collaborating across Merchandising, Production, and Technical Design to ensure timely delivery of high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of apparel product development and design.
• Proficient in PDM/PLM, Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel.
• Understanding of 3D Clo.
• Strong garment construction knowledge.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage product development from concept through production readiness.
• Create and maintain tech packs, BOMs in PLM, CADs & Line Sheets.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Production and Technical Design for cohesive execution.
• Manage library of fabrics, trims, artwork/graphics, and CADs.
• Partner with Sourcing to meet cost and margin targets.
• Track development timelines.
• Drive value engineering to optimize cost, quality, and speed.
• Support additional design team projects.
