Job summary

Central Transport LLC in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a Terminal Manager to lead dock operations at the Phoenix terminal. You will oversee loading and palletized freight, manage a team of drivers and dock staff, and drive safety and KPI performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing a team, preferably in transportation operations.
• Strong understanding of the LTL trucking industry.
• Prior management, dispatch or dock experience, preferably in LTL trucking industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dock operations for your designated section of the terminal dock.
• This includes loading, managing forklift traffic, and overseeing proper picking/sortation of palletized freight.
• Ensure proper load of carriers by monitoring the cube and weight of trailers.
• Provide leadership and accountability to a team of drivers, dock workers and dock hand.
• Monitor dock production, ensuring KPI goals are met or exceeded.
• Monitor hours and overtime; maintain a safe work environment compliant with DOT/OSHA standards.
• Ensure company operational model compliance.
• Support a culture of excellence in product quality for internal and external customers.
