Job summary

Cavender’s Wilmer cross-dock distribution facility is seeking a Senior Outbound Manager to lead all outbound operations, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of store and customer orders. You will oversee picking, packing, shipping, and distribution while optimizing workflows and coordinating with Transportation and store delivery teams.

This role demands 5+ years in warehouse/fulfillment, strong leadership, and expertise with WMS/OMS/TMS systems, with a focus on safety and continuous

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment operations.
2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of picking, packing, shipping, and order fulfillment processes.

Responsibilities

Lead outbound operations end-to-end and drive results.
Build, refine, and champion SOPs and workflows for picking, packing, and shipping.
Coach and develop supervisors and associates to high performance.
Plan wave planning, order prioritization, and workload distribution to meet service levels.
Ensure safety compliance and drive continuous improvement across the operation.
Coordinate with Transportation and Operations to keep routing and outbound logistics on plan.
Establish aggressive targets and hold team accountable to them.
