Job summary

General Motors LLC is seeking an Over the Air Vehicle System Engineer (OTA VSE) to own end-to-end OTA deployment for launching programs. You will drive multi-functional team initiatives, develop OTA readiness plans, and ensure seamless software content delivery across development, preproduction and production vehicles.

The role requires leading coordination with SW VSE, SIT and PEMs, strong project management and problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in automotive or related field.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills.
• Experience with OTA update and vehicle connectivity tech.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute OTA Readiness Plan for vehicle launches.
• Coordinate with SW VSE, SIT, PQE, PEMs across life cycle stages.
• Design dashboards and optimize SQL for delivery status monitoring.
• Lead multi-functional teams to ensure successful OTA deployments.
• Document scalable processes for new team members.
