Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with Windows Server and IT infrastructure in enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with SCADA/OT security and disaster recovery is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advanced administration and optimization of hosts and servers to maintain high availability and resource management in Windows Server environments.
• Plans, designs, implements, and administers SCADA systems, including automation control, virtualization, and network support.
• Researches and evaluates new/approved OT methods and equipment for SCADA enhancements.
• Analyzes performance and provides improvement recommendations.
• Performs root-cause analysis of incidents and implements preventative measures.
• Maintains backups and develops maintenance strategies for OT data and reports.
• Collaborates with City staff, engineers, consultants, and vendors on projects.
• Provides technical oversight and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
