Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions (CGS) is seeking an Industrial Control Systems (ICS) / SCADA/OT Network Engineer to lead technical efforts supporting defense facility infrastructures. The role emphasizes network engineering, architecture refinement, cybersecurity, A&A support, and integration across IT and OT domains.

This is a on-site role based in Portsmouth, VA with no travel outside NIWC facilities. The candidate will apply Unix/Linux/Windows expertise and scripting (Python, PowerShell, AWK,

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Active Secret clearance or higher.
• 5+ years in production IT/OT/network engineering (DoD/NIWC context).
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent field.
• Experience with ICS/SCADA environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced network engineering for IT and OT/SCADA environments.
• Design and implement complex network topologies and segmentation.
• Document rack elevations and network layouts using Visio.
• Configure and manage Cisco devices (ISE, Catalyst/Nexus).
• Develop SOPs and support ATO/A&A processes.
• Collaborate with IPTs and sponsor/program teams.
