Job summary

EY is seeking an OT Cybersecurity Consultant to join our industrial security practice. The role spans assessments, architecture reviews, and roadmap development across OT and IC environments, collaborating with engineering, operations, and cybersecurity stakeholders.

You will produce formal reports, diagrams, and executive presentations, guiding workstreams and mentoring junior staff while staying current with industry threats and regulatory developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Industrial Automation or related field (or equivalent).
• 3+ years in cybersecurity, OT security, or industrial automation.
• Experience with OT assessments, architecture reviews, risk analysis, or security design.
• Knowledge of OT/IC environments (SCADA, DCS, PLC, RTU, HMI).
• Familiarity with ISA/IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, NIST CSF or equivalent guidance.
• Experience producing professional reports, presentations, or architecture artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OT cybersecurity maturity and risk assessments and gap analyses.
• Assess OT environments (SCADA, DCS, PLC, RTU, HMI) and supporting networks.
• Review OT architectures, segmentation, firewalls, remote access and asset visibility.
• Develop OT cybersecurity strategies, roadmaps, and implementation plans.
• Design and support OT security solutions considering safety and reliability.
• Lead client workshops and deliver clear technical documentation and diagrams.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to proposals and assets.
