Job summary

EY is seeking an OT Senior Architecture & Governance Issues/Defect Solution Analyst to join our Operational Technology (OT) team. This role focuses on driving architectural integrity, governance compliance, and effective defect resolution across OT environments.

You will lead cross-functional collaboration with cybersecurity, engineering, and product teams to align on defect resolution and architecture decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience with OT environments and governance.
• End-to-end issues management and defect handling.
• Defect intake, exception review, and change request workflows.
• Ability to build SOPs, trackers, and reporting templates.
• Familiarity with manufacturing/OT safety and production considerations.
• Knowledge of security architecture and SaaS/PaaS/IaaS/AI/ML/ZTA.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks: NERC CIP, NIS, CIS, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, ISA/IEC 62443.
• Security controls: firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, and access management.
• Risk-based mindset for remediation and migration planning.
• Stays current with OT regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review OT system designs for alignment with enterprise architecture.
• Maintain governance frameworks, SOPs, and docs.
• Support change review boards and architecture decision forums.
• Lead defect intake, triage, remediation cycles.
• Track and report defects, risks, and remediation progress.
• Facilitate weekly defect review meetings with stakeholders.
• Partner with OT architects, system owners, cybersecurity teams, and DECA.
• Provide guidance to site teams on governance and defects.
• Communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Develop standard work and LEAN process improvements.
• Provide architecture oversight for OT systems.
• Review and approve architectural designs focusing on security/compliance.
• Establish governance frameworks and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess designs.
• Facilitate decision-making around OT architecture.
• Conduct risk assessments and impact analyses for proposed changes.
• Stay current with emerging OT trends and regulations.
• Develop and maintain OT architecture documentation.
