Nemours is seeking an Orthotic Tech Sr. (Full-Time) to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida.

The role supports the Orthotic and Prosthetic department lab operations, including fabrication, molding, measuring, and fitting of orthotics/prosthetics, and assisting senior staff. Responsibilities include managing the carver workflow, using modification software, documenting in the EMR, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a clean, safe lab environment to provide patient-centered care in line with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum five years of experience in modifying plaster molds, pulling plastic, and custom brace design.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification required.
• Certified O&P Assistant, Certified O&P Technician, Certified Pedorthist, Certified Orthotic Fitter preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill casts and modify molds for fabrication.
• Manage carver processes and digital modification of foam molds.
• Clean and shape braces.
• Repair and modify braces as requested.
• Prepare molds for pulling and cut the plastics for pulling and/or any digital modification.
• Pull plastics.
• Assist CPO/CP/CO with patient care.
• Clean lab equipment and assure all equipment is working properly.
• Responsible for maintenance of all equipment.
• Maintain clean and orderly lab and exam room.
• Stock exam room with appropriate medical and clinical supplies
• Other duties as assigned.
