St. Luke's University Health Network seeks an Orthopedic Surgeon responsible for comprehensive care before, during, and after surgery across the network.

The physician advocates for patients within the health care system and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes. The role includes evaluating patients, performing procedures, maintaining EMR records, participating in continuing medical education, and coordinating clinical operations with staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school.
• Completion of residency training in area of specialty.
• Completion of fellowship in area of specialty if appropriate.

Responsabilités

• Initial evaluation, history and physical examination of patients (all care settings).
• Daily evaluation of patients and documentation in EMR.
• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.
• Attend patients in clinics.
• Participate in continuing medical education to maintain certification and license.
• Coordinate activities of nurses, assistants and other medical staff.
• Refer patients to other practitioners as needed.
• Conduct research and contribute to education as appropriate.
