Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a board‑certified/eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to provide comprehensive preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative care across its network.

The role emphasizes patient advocacy, collaboration with nurses, residents and other clinicians to deliver high‑quality musculoskeletal care. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, documenting in EMR, performing procedures, and participating in call coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school required.
• Residency in orthopedic surgery required.
• Fellowship in area of specialty preferred where appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial evaluation, history and physical examination of all patients.
• Daily evaluation and documentation in EMR.
• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.
• Attend to patients in clinics.
• Maintain certification and state license through CME.
• Coordinate care with nursing staff and other practitioners.
