Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a physician to provide comprehensive medical services in both practice and hospital settings. This role emphasizes high-quality, cost-effective care and participation in quality and patient-satisfaction initiatives.

The position requires MD or DO, state licensure, and Board Certification/Eligibility in the specialty. Excellent communication with patients, families, and referring physicians is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school and completion of residency and/or fellowship in area of specialty.
• MD or DO - licensed by the state licensure board within the State of practice.
• Board Certified/Eligible in the area of specialty by the appropriate medical board.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examination of all patients seen.
• Provide cost-effective, high-quality care based on best practice evidenced based medicine.
• Demonstrates competency in assessment and treatment and communicates with patients and families.
• Coordinates patient care and makes referrals to other professionals as needed.
• Teaches wellness habits and educates patients on prevention of health problems.
