Job summary

The Garrett Group is seeking an Operations Research/Systems Analysis SME to support USSTRATCOM with informed decision-making. You will apply advanced analytical techniques to complex mission challenges, aiming to streamline operations and reduce costs while enhancing overall performance.

You will gather data, perform quantitative analyses using SQL/Tableau/R, and generate reports to inform assessment efforts. Collaboration with COIs and support during exercises are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in operations research methods and techniques.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to organize complex tasks.
• Familiarity with USSTRATCOM and mission analysis requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identify and gather relevant data from operational HQ elements.
• Utilize SQL, Tableau, and R to facilitate assessments and visualization.
• Conduct follow-up data collection via surveys to explain issues.
• Generate reports and presentations aligning findings with assessment efforts.
• Develop and manage assessment Communities of Interest (COIs).
• Review documents and develop additional assessments for internal/external tasking.
• Support Command Assessment staff during Command Exercises.
