Job summary

United Power seeks an Organizational Development Specialist to lead training, development, and organizational improvement initiatives. You will coordinate onboarding, leadership programs, and workforce planning, partnering with leaders to identify skills gaps and deliver learning solutions.

The role supports HR programs, maintains confidential records, and ensures regulatory compliance. A strong background in training, change management, and stakeholder collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Education, Communications, or related field.
• AND a minimum of two (2) years’ experience coordinating or facilitating employee training programs.
• Experience maintaining confidential records, coordinating projects, and communicating with employees across multiple levels.
• Senior Specialist/OD role requires five (5) years’ HR support experience, including training coordination and development.
• Preferred: HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, CPTD) and LMS/HRIS exposure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates organization-wide learning, onboarding, leadership development, employee engagement, and workforce initiatives.
• Partners with leaders to assess skills gaps and training needs, recommending OD solutions.
• Facilitates or supports training programs, process improvements, and organizational effectiveness activities.
• Develops and maintains training resources, content, and vendor relationships for learning programs.
