Daikin Comfort is seeking an Organizational Development Specialist to analyze processes, design interventions, and report impact to leadership. You will support talent management, succession planning, performance, and change initiatives across functions while maintaining tools and driving sustainable change.

Hybrid or remote work options may be available. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field with 3+ years of experience, and are proficient with Talent Management systems

Responsibilities

  • Support designed interventions in talent management, succession planning, performance management, and change management; support business goals.
  • Maintains the Organizational Change Management Toolkit and processes.
  • Supports the OD team on development needs and customized strategies for sustainable change.
  • Collect data to validate tools measuring productivity, performance, or engagement.
  • Executes coaching and mentoring programs including executive coaching and mentoring.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally to achieve results through others.
  • Oversees OD vendor platforms and SaaS used by the company.
  • Stays current on OD trends and solutions to develop talent and effectiveness.
  • Partners across functions to integrate learning initiatives with growth strategy.

Job description

The Organizational Development Specialist supports the organizational goals, analyzes business processes, and completes designed interventions. They analyze business operations and processes, interview personnel to identify developmental needs, and report the impact of their interventions to Managers and Directors. The Organizational Development Specialist supports opportunities to increase an organization's effectiveness by efficiently utilizing and managing their resources.

Position Responsibilities May Include
  • Support designed interventions in the areas of talent management, succession planning, performance management, and change management; support the achievement of business goals and objectives.
  • Maintains the Organizational Change Management Toolkit and associated processes.
  • Supports the OD team on organizational development and change management needs, supporting and facilitating customized strategies and solutions that drive sustainable change and build leader/organizational capability.
  • Maintains expertise in providing solutions to performance issues or competency gaps and monitors program progress to completion. Conducts data collection efforts to validate tools meant to measure employee productivity, performance, or engagement.
  • Executes coaching and mentoring programs including executive coaching, mentoring, peer coaching.
  • Collaborates effectively cross functionally and achieves results with and through others.
  • Oversees assigned OD vendor platforms and other SaaS utilized by the company.
  • Stays abreast of organizational development trends and advanced thinking around solutions to further development talent and organizational effectiveness.
  • Partner across functions to integrate learning initiatives with the company’s growth approach
  • Performs other tasks as assigned

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from various stakeholders including leadership, managers, and employees.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or diagrams.
  • Excellent communication skills, presentation skills, and networking abilities
  • Strong time management skills and initiative, and the ability to collaborate on project based work .
  • Proficient with Talent Management systems, assessments, and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)
  • Excellent facilitation skills, both in person and via virtual presence
  • Ability to utilize The Action Research Model
Experience
  • 3 plus years of related experience and/or training
  • Desired Certified Executive Coach (IFC accepted)
  • Desired Certified Korn Ferry Leadership Architect
  • Certified to deliver facilitation of communication styles model (Desired CoreStrengths)
Education/Certification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or other related field.

People Management: No

Physical Requirements / Work Environment: Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations. Overnight and out-of-state travel as needed, though typically up to 20% depending upon assigned clients. Potential for hybrid or remote work.
