Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Sr. Engineer – Oracle HCM Integrations to lead Oracle HCM and enterprise HR integrations from a remote start with a plan to convert to full-time; onsite hybrid conversion will be required later in some locations.

The role demands hands-on expertise with Oracle HCM Cloud, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), HCM APIs, and related tooling, plus strong architecture and leadership skills across HR systems, payroll, benefits, and security.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise application engineering, HCM technology, or integrations experience.
• Strong experience with Oracle HCM Cloud, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle HCM APIs, HCM Extracts, HDL/HSDL, Fast Formulas, Value Sets, Oracle Security and Roles, Areas of Responsibility, HCM Workflows and Approvals, and Visual Builder Studio.
• Proficiency with REST APIs, SOAP web services, middleware and iPaaS platforms, SFTP and file transfers, event-driven integrations, and batch processing.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, support, and optimization of Oracle HCM integrations.
• Serve as technical lead and escalation point for HCM-related integration issues.
• Architect and support integrations with payroll systems, benefits platforms, retirement providers, equity and stock administration systems, identity and access management platforms, and enterprise business systems.
• Provide architecture reviews, code reviews, testing oversight, deployment support, and production troubleshooting.
• Establish best practices for CI/CD, source control, monitoring, documentation, automated testing, and release management.
• Develop runbooks, cross-training plans, and knowledge transfer initiatives.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, Security, IT, and third-party vendors.
• Mentor engineers and promote consistent engineering standards and operational excellence.
• Support roadmap planning, prioritization, vendor management, and delivery execution.
• Participate in Agile processes, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Jira reporting.
