Job summary

SMX is seeking an accomplished Senior Business Analyst to collect and document business requirements and configure Oracle E-Business Suite solutions. You will gather requirements, design and implement system solutions, provide functional support, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and align the system with business objectives.

This role requires an active security clearance and is remote with some travel.

Qualifications

• Active clearance or public trust (sponsor dependent).
• Experience in iProcurement, Purchasing, Contract LifeCyle Management (CLM).
• Deep understanding accounting and specifically line of accounting (LOA) configuration.
• Familiarity with Oracle 12.2.x application schema and able to create queries.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience with requirements gathering, testing, and solution design.
• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field; postgraduate study may substitute for experience.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience.
• Experience creating and maintaining training documentation.
• Experience with MyOracleSupport and resolving Service Requests (SR).

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements for Oracle EBS enhancements and configurations.
• Translate business needs into functional specs and design system solutions.
• Configure Oracle EBS modules to meet business requirements and support projects.
• Create test plans, scripts, and cases; perform functional testing and assist in UAT.
• Provide ongoing support to end-users; troubleshoot issues and coordinate resolutions.
• Act as a bridge between business units and technical teams; ensure clear communication.
• Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement using Oracle EBS.
• Develop system and user documentation and deliver training for new functionalities.
