Job summary

SMX is seeking an accomplished Senior Business Analyst to collect, document, and analyze business requirements and configure Oracle E-Business Suite solutions. The role includes testing, training, and cross-functional collaboration to improve efficiency and align systems with business objectives, with a required clearance and a remote setup with travel.

Essential duties cover requirements analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and ongoing functional support.

Qualifications

• Active clearance or public trust based on sponsor.
• Commercial treasury and cash management implementation experience.
• Deep understanding accounting and LOA configuration.
• Application enablement skills.
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and modules (Finance, Procurement).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience with requirements gathering, testing, and solution design.
• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience; related postgraduate study may substitute for experience.
• Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 experience.

Responsibilities

• Requirements analysis: gather and document requirements for Oracle EBS features.
• Solution design: translate needs into functional specs and design solutions.
• Configuration and implementation: set up Oracle EBS modules to meet requirements; support through production.
• Testing: create test plans, scripts, and cases; perform functional testing and assist UAT.
• Functional support: troubleshoot issues and coordinate resolutions with technical teams.
• Collaboration: bridge business units and technical teams for integration.
• Process improvement: analyze processes and identify Oracle EBS optimization opportunities.
• Documentation and training: develop system docs and deliver user training.
