Job summary

SMX is seeking accomplished Senior Business Analysts to collect, document, and analyze business requirements and configure Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) solutions. The role requires a current security clearance or public trust and may involve remote work with some travel.

Responsibilities include requirements analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve processes and align systems with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Active clearance or public trust based on sponsor.
• Commercial treasury and cash management implementation experience
• Deep understanding accounting and specifically LOA configuration
• Application enablement skills
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and its modules (e.g., Finance, Procurement)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience with requirements gathering, testing, and solution design.
• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience. Directly related postgraduate study may be substituted for experience at the rate of three credit hours for three months of experience up to 36 credit hours.
• Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 experience.

Responsibilities

• Requirements analysis: Gather and document requirements for new features, enhancements, and configurations in Oracle EBS.
• Solution design: Translate business needs into functional specifications and design system solutions leveraging Oracle EBS.
• Configuration and implementation: Configure Oracle EBS modules to meet business requirements and support projects through to production. Testing: Create test plans, scripts, and cases, and perform functional testing.
• Functional support: Provide ongoing support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolutions with technical teams.
• Collaboration: Bridge between business units and technical teams for successful integration.
• Process improvement: Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement with Oracle EBS.
• Documentation and training: Develop system and user documentation and deliver training.
