Job summary

SMX is seeking accomplished Business Analysts to collect, document, and analyze business requirements and configure Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) solutions. Key responsibilities include gathering requirements, designing and implementing system solutions, providing functional support, performing testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and align the system with business objectives.

The proposed salary for this position is $73,000 — $122,000 USD.

Qualifications

• Active clearance or public trust based on sponsor.
• Experience with iProcurement, iSupplier, Trading Partners, and Payables.
• Understanding of accounting and Subledger Accounting (SLA).
• Experience tailoring Oracle Applications to meet client needs.
• Familiarity with Oracle 12.2.x application schema and creating queries.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience with requirements gathering, testing, and solution design.
• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience; postgraduate study may substitute as described.
• Experience with MyOracleSupport and resolving Service Requests.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document requirements for new features and configurations.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and designs.
• Configure Oracle EBS modules to meet business requirements.
• Develop test plans, scripts, and test cases; assist in UAT.
• Provide ongoing functional support and coordinate resolutions with tech teams.
• Bridge business units and technical teams for successful integrations.
• Analyze current processes and identify EBS improvement opportunities.
• Create system and user documentation and deliver training.
