Job summary

Intone Inc. seeks an Oracle Cloud Solution Architect for a 12-month contract based in Alexandria, VA. You will design and architect enterprise OCI solutions, guide large migrations, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure systems.

The role emphasizes high availability, security, and efficient deployment across web and mobile applications, with hands-on Exadata experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years of experience with Oracle database technologies and enterprise architecture.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).
• Strong experience with Oracle Exadata (on-premises and cloud—EXACS/EXACC).
• Proven experience in large-scale cloud migration projects including lift-and-shift.
• Deep understanding of high-availability and disaster recovery architectures (Data Guard, RMAN).
• Experience with OCI networking concepts (VCN, subnets, load balancers, VPN, FastConnect).
• Knowledge of security, identity management, and compliance frameworks.
• 3+ years of experience designing for web and mobile applications.
• Experience deploying high-availability designs in multi-application environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect OCI solutions aligned with enterprise requirements.
• Lead large-scale cloud migration projects including lift-and-shift and modernization.
• Develop high-availability and disaster recovery architectures.
• Design Exadata solutions for on-premises and cloud deployments.
• Document architectures using Visio and other visualization tools.
• Coordinate software requirements with development teams and manage deployments.
• Oversee deployment of large, complex web and mobile applications.
• Design networking with VCNs, subnets, load balancers, VPN, and FastConnect.
• Implement security, identity, and compliance frameworks in cloud environments.
• Guide architecture decisions from conception to deployment with performance tuning and scaling.
