KAISER in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a Surgical Technologist II to scrub and assist during surgical procedures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician. You will prepare the sterile field, pass instruments, and support surgeon needs to ensure safe patient care.

Requirements include a surgical technologist program graduate, two years of OR scrubbing experience, and BLS or equivalent certification. Strong teamwork and communication are essential for this role.

Formación

• Two years within the last three years operating room scrubbing or equivalent military experience.
• Graduate of approved surgical technologist or military equivalent program.
• National Center for Competency Testing or NBSTSA certificate (Technologist in Surgery).
• Basic Life Support certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Assists surgeon by passing instruments and maintaining tissue handling during procedures.
• Sets up and organizes room, instruments, and supplies for upcoming surgeries.
• Maintains sterile technique and verifies instrument counts and equipment functionality.
• Performs scrub role and supports patient care under RN/physician supervision.
