Job summary

MercyOne Genesis is seeking an experienced OR Service Line Coordinator (RN) to oversee clinical operations readiness and coordination for surgical service lines. The role focuses on service line optimization, standardization, and collaboration across perioperative teams to support safe, efficient, high-quality care.

The position requires a BSN and 5+ years of perioperative nursing experience; CNOR is preferred. Day shift, 1.0 FTE, with on-call requirements and no direct reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.
• MSN preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years perioperative nursing experience including specialty service line experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent perioperative nursing functions including scrubbing, circulating, case preparation, aseptic practice, equipment readiness, room turnover, and documentation.
• Collaborate with patients, surgeons, anesthesia, and OR team for training, preference cards, performance improvement, and education.
• Lead clinical and operational readiness for assigned surgical service lines; ensure end-to-end readiness for procedures; identify and resolve readiness gaps.
