Job summary

MercyOne Genesis, part of Trinity Health, seeks an experienced OR Service Line Coordinator (RN) to lead perioperative operations across service lines. You will ensure readiness for scheduled surgeries, manage equipment and implants, and drive collaboration with surgeons, anesthesia, and SPD.

The role emphasizes standardization, cost-consciousness, and patient safety, with on-site day shifts and a 40-hour week in a dynamic, mission-driven healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years perioperative nursing experience.
• Experience with robotics or advanced procedures preferred.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be comfortable in a shared leadership environment.
• Current Iowa RN license at time of hire; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical operations for assigned surgical service lines.
• Ensure end-to-end readiness for scheduled procedures, including equipment and supplies.
• Identify gaps or risks to readiness and resolve issues with stakeholders.
• Maintain surgeon preference cards and engage with SPD and Supply Chain.
• Support standardization efforts to improve efficiency and patient safety.
• Collaborate with anesthesia, surgical teams, and clinical education for new procedures.
