Responsibilities

• Performs scrub role: anticipates surgeon's needs and passes instruments.
• Assists physician within scope of competency.
• Sets up and organizes room.
• Assembles and ensures all equipment is appropriate, available, sterilized per protocol.
• Transports patients, equipment, supplies, and specimens throughout the medical center.
