Job summary

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted California RN license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–2 years of leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience; ambulatory surgery center or OR leadership preferred.
• ACLS certification required; CNOR preferred.
• Working knowledge of perioperative nursing practices, surgical procedures, sterile technique, infection prevention, and OR equipment.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, problem-solving, and computer skills.
• Ability to circulate and scrub a variety of surgical procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide circulating and/or scrub nursing during procedures.
• Assist surgeons during a variety of surgical procedures.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and patient-focused OR environment.
• Support equipment readiness and supply inventory management.
• Complete accurate medical documentation to ensure quality and safety.
