Job summary

USPI OrthoArizona Surgery Center Gilbert is hiring an RN OR Circulator for a full-time role. A circulating nurse acts as a liaison for the operating room team, not scrubbed in, and handles pre- and post-operative tasks to ensure patient safety.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Arizona RN license, CPR and ACLS, and 2+ years of OR circulator experience; BSN preferred. Benefits and a supportive environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Arizona Nursing License.
• Current CPR, ACLS certified.
• Minimum 2+ years OR circulator experience.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as go-between for OR staff; not scrubbed in.
• Conduct initial patient assessment as they enter the OR.
• Assist surgeon and scrub nurse; hand supplies as needed.
• Count opened packages and used supplies after surgery to ensure accuracy.
• Prioritize responsibilities and maintain patient safety.
