Job summary

Collins Aerospace Optronics is seeking a Project Engineer to drive complex technical programs from planning through delivery. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage schedules and budgets, and communicate status to customers and senior leadership.

The role requires a solid technical background, experience with EVMS, and the ability to guide teams through challenges. Onsite work supported by strong collaboration across internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required with extensive program management experience.
• Experience with earned value management, budgeting, and cost control.
• Strong communication and leadership skills for customer meetings and senior leadership briefings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and final delivery of technical programs on time and within budget.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, budgets, resources, risks, and schedules.
• Build relationships with team members, suppliers, and key stakeholders to drive program success.
• Manage multiple projects, balance priorities, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Lead preparation of bid and proposals in accordance with Collins Aerospace processes and generate bid artifacts.
