Qualifications

• Degree in STEM plus 2+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years in opto-mechanical design for harsh environments.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design of optical and opto-electrical assemblies.
• Perform tolerance, thermal, structural analyses and material selection.
• Collaborate with optical engineers to translate requirements into robust designs.
• Develop 3D CAD models and drawings following engineering standards.
• Conduct design reviews, prototype evaluations and root-cause investigations.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain and suppliers to optimize for manufacturability and cost.
• Drive continuous improvement through innovative design methods and emerging technologies.
• Support technical research and process improvement activities.
