Job summary

Neurophos is seeking a Systems Engineer to own the quantitative, end-to-end performance model for our OVMM engine. You will lead modeling, analysis, and architecture definition for high-speed optical/analog/digital systems, translating simulations into allocations for the organization.

You will collaborate across photonics, analog, digital, and software teams. The role focuses on accuracy, throughput, and power tradeoffs, with heavy emphasis on system-level simulations and model-to-measurement

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.
• 7+ years in communication systems architecture or performance modeling.
• Strong knowledge of modulation, synchronization, and quantization effects.

Responsibilities

• Own and define high-speed communication system architecture.
• Model TX–channel–RX and allocate NMSE/SNR/SNDR targets.
• Perform Monte Carlo and time-domain simulations to assess margin.
