Job summary

Neurophos, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to own the quantitative, end-to-end performance model of our OVMM engine. This role leads modeling, analysis, and architectural definition for high-speed communication systems, spanning optical, analog, and digital domains.

You will allocate targets, quantify impairments, and drive architecture decisions. You will spend most of your time running system-level simulations and translating results into tangible allocations for design

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in communication systems or performance modeling.
• Deep knowledge of modulation, synchronization, quantization, and coding-gain concepts.

Responsibilities

• Own and define architecture of high-speed communication and signal-processing system.
• Manage end-to-end optical/electrical link budget and performance allocations.
• Build and maintain reference behavioral model for TX–channel–RX path.
• Run Monte Carlo and time-domain simulations to quantify design margin and robustness.
