Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of related manufacturing experience.
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of any shift.
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Clip and secure lenses into baskets to begin coating.
• Operate coating machine; load chemicals and lenses.
• Inspect lenses for optical and cosmetic accuracy.
• Bevel lenses to remove sharp edges.
• Mount edged lenses into frames ensuring proper fit.
• Use edging machines to shape lenses to frame size.
• Prepare lenses for edging with layout markings and chuck attachment.
• Tint lenses accurately.
• Inspect lenses and frames for quality standards.
• Secure blocks and tape in surfacing; polish and finish lenses.
• Wash and inspect finished lenses for cosmetic quality.
