Job summary

Quantum Electric Group is seeking a Senior Operations Manager for our El Monte, CA office and field sites across Southern California. The role combines operations leadership with hands-on project oversight, requiring strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to manage complex PNLs.

You will oversee multiple electrical projects, coordinate with electricians, clients, and vendors, and ensure schedules and budgets stay on track in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record.
• Proven analytical skills from studies or professional experience.
• Exceptional communication, writing, and analytical skills.
• 8+ years of professional experience, preferably in high-growth startups.
• Read the JD thoroughly.
• Daily lunches included while in-office or in the field.
• Full insurance coverage (health, dental, vision).
• Role is in-office in El Monte, CA, five days a week.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage, and oversee electrical projects.
• Oversee budgeting, scheduling, manpower, material planning, permitting, inspections, punchlists, and more.
• Be the main point of contact for clients and contractors.
• Collaborate with electricians to ensure everything is on schedule.
• Manage project calendar and phasing.
• Assist with estimating, planning, and scoping for electrical projects and bids.
• Track and manage project PNLs and contractor/payments.
• Lead a team of project associates and coordinators.
• Wear multiple hats across functions.
