Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking an Operations Manager in the San Francisco area to lead the day-to-day operations of a single EPS office, drive safety performance, scheduling, and financial results. You will supervise field technicians and office staff, ensuring high-quality, NETA-compliant services across utility, data center, and commercial markets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical equipment testing and inspection, including high and low voltage applications.
• B.S. in electrical engineering or an associate’s degree is preferred.
• NETA Certification is a plus; familiarity with Doble test equipment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead all daily operations of the local office, including scheduling, field execution, and resource allocation.
• Manage daily schedule entries and updates to ensure accurate job planning and execution, including last-minute changes.
• Assign personnel or contractors with the appropriate skill sets to meet job requirements.
• Drive technician utilization, crew productivity, and efficient project execution.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with NETA standards, project specifications, and client expectations.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, and regional leadership to ensure alignment.
