Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services seeks a Senior Operations Management Trainee to lead and learn within our fast-paced plasma center network. The program combines accelerated leadership development with hands-on operations experience.

Relocation is required after the trainee program; travel up to 90–100% during training, with progression toward Plasma Center Manager roles supported by mentorship and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Relocation required upon graduation/completion of Trainee Program.
• 3-5 years of experience leading medium to large teams (20+ direct reports).
• Up to 90-100% travel during the Trainee Program.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Willingness to travel and work at various BioLife locations across the country.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Have a valid driver’s license for the entire duration of the program.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• Due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1), 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear.

Responsibilities

• Continuous Learning & Development: six-month expedited training; 12 months to Plasma Center Manager.
• Team Management: mentor, provide feedback, conduct performance reviews, recruit and develop staff.
• Career Advancement: pursue Plasma Center Operations Manager through training and networking.
• Supportive Teamwork: operate in a fast-paced environment, provide operational support, solve problems.
• Exceptional Customer Service: retain donors and assist with production as needed.
• Travel Opportunities: network across BioLife centers nationwide and return home regularly.
