Job summary

Otis Elevator Co. is seeking a Sr Operations Manager for New Equipment & Modernization to lead a high-performing team in the South Florida & The Bahamas territory. You will oversee day-to-day field operations, set project schedules, and drive safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

You will manage staffing, training, and onboarding, ensuring alignment with Otis’ strategic objectives and operating plans while coordinating with the General Manager to achieve targets and KPIs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years elevator industry management experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication with internal and external customers.
• Self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities.
• Comfortable in a technical environment using Microsoft software.
• Knowledge and strict enforcement of EH&S policy and processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the South Florida & The Bahamas operating territory to meet financial and non-financial objectives.
• Direct field operations for New Equipment & Modernization projects with schedules and budgets.
• Provide training and performance management for field technicians and superintendents.
• Develop action plans to address safety, performance to estimates, and technical support.
• Coordinate with Product Line experts on operational challenges and parts fulfillment.
• Lead resolution of customer issues and contracts within the territory.
