Job summary

HelloFresh seeks a Senior Operations Manager to lead the culture and daily activities for a high-volume prep, cook and plating production kitchen and fulfillment center in Irving, TX. You will work with the Director of Operations to build and lead the operational road map for the flagship production site and its workforce.

Your time will be spent between managing daily logistics, mentoring the leadership team, and driving continuous improvement across safety, quality, cost, and delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience in an industrial kitchen or production operations.
• Bachelor's Degree; Master's preferred.
• Strategic thinking with executive-level communication.
• Lean and Agile production knowledge; food safety expertise (FSMA, HACCP, SQF).

Responsibilities

• Build and develop a strong leadership pipeline across fulfillment functions.
• Develop relationships with peers and direct reports for collaboration.
• Execute final Production Scheduling with managers.
• Ensure product quality across the department.
• Liaise between site operations, kitchen, R&D and HQ for key priorities.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and set direction.
• Maintain high execution standards to meet KPIs and financial goals.
• Lead monthly meetings to align goals and engage the team.
• Drive safety, quality, cost and delivery improvements continuously.
• Create a positive team dynamic with feedback and accountability.
