Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is seeking a Lean Six Sigma professional to drive site performance improvements at the Jayuya manufacturing site.

You will lead GPS-based initiatives, collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering and Leadership to embed a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. The role focuses on cost savings, cycle-time reductions, and production flow optimization, with a strong emphasis on data-driven decision making and cross-functional teamwork across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, continuous improvement, or related environment.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing improvement projects.
• Solid understanding of cGMP, FDA, and EHS regulations.
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and influencing skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities.
• Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish).
• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support site performance improvement initiatives through GPS to achieve maturity targets.
• Partner with site leadership to identify, prioritize, and execute CI projects aligned with goals.
• Drive Lean culture and problem-solving across all levels of the organization.
• Lead Margin Improvement program to meet annual cost savings, efficiency, and productivity targets.
• Coach cross-functional teams on Lean/Six Sigma tools and RCA, process mapping, and stats.
