Job summary

Baxter Manufacturing Site in Jayuya, PR is seeking a Lean/Six Sigma professional to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across the site. The role partners with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Leadership to embed GPS, Lean thinking, and problem-solving methodologies.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in manufacturing CI, a Bachelor’s in Engineering, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience with Lean and Six Sigma in manufacturing.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead site performance improvement initiatives using GPS to hit maturation targets.
• Partner with site leadership to prioritize and execute CI projects.
• Promote Lean thinking and continuous improvement across the organization.
• Lead Margin Improvement program (MIP) and achieve cost savings targets.
• Coach teams on Lean/Six Sigma tools, root cause analysis, and process mapping.
• Support Site Strategic Plan development, tracking, and governance.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste and optimize production flows.
• Design KPIs to monitor process performance and progress.
• Support LDMS for consistent execution and accountability.
