Job summary

Amgen seeks a Medical Science Liaison focused on Ophthalmology and Endocrinology to support AL, LA, AR, and MS. You will engage with thought leaders, communicate scientific and medical value, and help guide strategic medical activities in a competitive landscape.

You will travel up to 60% and collaborate with Medical Affairs and Clinical Development teams to advance external collaborations and investigator-initiated trials, contributing to patient outcomes and Amgen's scientific leadership.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree required.
• Master's degree with 3 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of Medical Affairs experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with medical experts and clinicians in the US.
• Communicate scientific/medical information and commercial value to audiences.
• Travel up to 60% for territory management and conferences.
• Identify potential external collaborations and train external speakers.
• Support investigator-initiated and company-sponsored trials.
• Monitor therapeutic area trends and provide feedback to leadership.
