What We Do

What you'll be doing

• May act as the team’s resource and subject matter expert.
• Participates in and conducts training programs within a functional area or unit, typically in a production environment. May train an internal or external audience individually or in a group setting.
• Delivers training to internal and/or external audiences on processes, service, product, computer applications, operating systems, programming and end-user training. May include onboarding training and soft skill training.
• Conducts and analyzes evaluations to judge effectiveness of training sessions and recommends improvements.
• Develops surveys and analyzes metrics to identify training opportunities based on projected needs, changes, and other factors.
• Deploys a variety of methods to appropriately present educational and training programs, including in-person presentations, audio/visual, print, computer and intranet.
• Evaluates existing materials for effectiveness and may adjust as necessary.
• Reviews training schedules and other educational materials.
• Executes educational and training events. May plan resourcing and logistics.
• Communicates with Manager on a regular basis. Provides regular status updates on progress and issues.
• Maintains an understanding of technical training methods, developments and best practices.
• Collects information on employee performance and feedback.
• Supports and mentors new team members.

• Supervision Received or Extended: No formal responsibility for the supervision of others but may provide functional advice or training to less experienced team members.
• Works independently under broad supervision.
• Knowledge and experience with training approaches and methods, tools and techniques.
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to present information to a variety of audiences.
• Data gathering and analysis.
• Critical thinking to assess training materials.
• Possesses a professional proactive approach to problem solving, reliability and the ability to rapidly learn new technologies and processes.
• Experience with writing and/or maintaining documentation such as user manuals, reference guides, and on-line help text.
• Experience working independently, pro-actively completing project activities; communicating with subject-matter experts; and making recommendations for improvements in training activities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated; self-starter.
• Experience in coordinating projects, focusing on both long-range projects and immediate tasks.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Typical Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Typical Range of Experience: 5-7 years of training-related experience.
• License or Certification.
