Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Operations Specialist for a leading electronics manufacturer in Charlotte, NC. This role drives continuous improvement and operational excellence across manufacturing processes.

You will implement Six Sigma, lead Kaizen events, and collaborate with EHS and Quality teams to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency. A Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and 5+ years in manufacturing are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or related field.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (Black Belt preferred).
• 5+ years in a similar manufacturing role with Six Sigma/Kaizen.

Responsibilities

• Implement Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency and quality.
• Facilitate Kaizen events to eliminate waste.
• Develop safety strategies with EHS and Quality teams.
• Use KPIs and OEE to measure performance and identify improvements.
• Conduct cycle time analysis to optimize production.
• Mentor plant employees on CI tools and methodology.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• 1. Implementing and maintaining Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency and quality.

Qualifications:

• 1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field.
• 2. A Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (Black Belt Preferred)
• 3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
• 4. Proven experience with Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• 5. Strong knowledge of KPIs, OEE, and cycle time analysis.
• 6. Excellent coaching and mentoring skills.
• 7. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• 8. A strong commitment to safety and quality.
