Job summary

Medtronic Tempe Campus seeks a Sr Manager Operational Excellence to lead planning and execution of process-improvement strategies across the site. You will build high-performing teams, drive performance targets, and deploy MPS while collaborating with site leadership to align with global goals.

You will report to the Site Leader, work with cross-functional stakeholders, and shape a durable culture of continuous improvement that delivers yearly savings and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of manufacturing/Operations/OpEx experience and 5+ years of managerial experience or an advanced degree with 5+ years of relevant experience and 5+ years of managerial experience.
• On-site role, 5 days a week at Tempe, Arizona Campus.

Responsibilities

• Guide, deploy, and execute the Medtronic Performance System (MPS) across the site.
• Establish a site-wide culture of continuous improvement and Operations excellence.
• Lead programmatic savings activities to reduce operational costs.
• Attract, coach, and develop direct reports and change agents.
• Develop and implement the site roadmap for MPS and operating system adoption.
• Set training strategy and partner with cross-functional teams to milestones.
• Partner with site leadership to manage long-term vision and short-term actions.
• Deliver improvements in performance, process excellence, and savings across Global Manufacturing and West Americas.
• Facilitate strategic kaizen events and transformational programs.
