Job summary

Walmart seeks a Senior Manager, Operations in Hoboken, NJ to lead complex projects within the Emerging Business Unit. You will manage timelines, resources, and cross-functional communication to ensure successful implementation and drive data-driven insights that shape business strategies.

You will oversee budgets, mitigate risks, mentor associates, and champion continuous improvement to deliver measurable results while maintaining policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or related field and 3 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area.
• 1 year’s supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage project work streams, ensuring timely execution and successful implementation of initiatives.
• Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations aligned with business objectives and operational goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and improve processes, tools, and strategies that enhance efficiency.
• Oversee budget management, approve expenditures, and develop contingency plans to address escalated issues.
• Lead and mentor associates, establishing performance expectations and fostering a high-performing team environment.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to reduce costs and optimize business operations.
• Build strong partnerships with stakeholders to support business plans and achieve key performance metrics.
