Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking Staff Technical Services Project Managers (Level 5) to serve as Operations Program Managers in Northern Utah facilities. The roles are 100% on-site in Promontory, Clearfield or Magna, Utah, leading product families through full value-stream ownership across design, manufacturing, and testing.

Qualifications include engineering degrees with 12+ years (or master's with 10+ years) and PMP certification. Strong communication and lean process experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 12 years of experience in engineering, operations, program management, production, safety and product lifecycle.
• Master’s degree with 10 years of experience in engineering, operations, program management and production, safety and product lifecycle.
• Exceptional written and oral communications skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications with management.
• Proficient MS Project, Excel, Power Point and Word skills.
• Ability to work under limited supervision and complete projects on time and on budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead all activities associated with a product family within the value stream.
• Deliver a product family through ownership of its value stream elements including: requirements, design, planning, manufacture, inspection, testing and delivery.
• Staff the team across matrix organizations and ensure effective concurrent engineering.
• Manage total team performance with program office and plant functional organizations.
• Focus on designing, manufacturing and testing of a defect-free, high-value product.
