Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector has an opening in Utah for a Manager Operations Program Management (OPM) Functional Lead. The role leads a team of OPMs across the Utah portfolio, driving manufacturing performance from proposal through delivery and coordinating with program, engineering, and support teams.

The position requires 8+ years in manufacturing/operations with strong leadership, cost/schedule management, and the ability to obtain a US Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant professional experience in manufacturing, engineering, operations or program environment.
• 2+ years’ experience leading tasks on schedule, at cost and meeting requirements as PM/IPT/CAM.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.
• Experience with manufacturing execution systems and MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of OPMs for a subset of the Utah portfolio.
• Align regional OPM organization with Space Sector M&O guidelines.
• Drive manufacturing efficiency and end-to-end manufacturing strategies.
• Manage risk assessments and ensure compliance and quality standards.
• Oversee proposals, production planning and execution for manufacturing programs.
