Job summary

Aramark is seeking a General Manager to plan, manage, and guide multiple contracted services for a client typically generating $2–15M+ in revenue to meet operating and financial goals. This includes food service, facility support, custodial services, retail, lodging, and transportation as needed.

The role requires leadership of a team, strong client relationships, financial savvy, and a commitment to safety, with a minimum Bachelor’s degree preferred and extensive contract services experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree level education highly preferred in an area of Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities, or Business Management.
• Focus on client and customer services, entrepreneurship and growing a strong business is essential to success in this role.
• Savvy interpersonal skills to communicate with clients, senior management, and Aramark staff.
• Comfortable with contractual requirements and identifying opportunities within contract terms.
• Experience in service industry, contract services, or hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team that provides operational expertise in contracted services with hands‑on execution management.
• Manages client and community relationships at the location and develops plans to drive satisfaction.
• Builds and leads a management team and staff to carry out objectives.
• Recommends methods and resources for service improvement and growth based on contractual obligations.
• In partnership with Finance, manages a budget and assists in design of improvements to optimize financial performance.
• Ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulations and records.
• Ensures adherence to Aramark standards of operation including safety and conduct policy.
