Job summary

DSV is seeking an Operations Manager for our Salt Lake City site to oversee daily warehousing, receiving, and shipping activities. You will plan inbound/outbound volume, manage space and equipment, and lead a team to align with service and cost objectives.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in logistics, and the ability to drive improvements while ensuring safety and quality. You will collaborate with HR, monitor KPIs, and communicate with clients and senior management.

Qualifications

• Requires 7 years in logistics/distribution environment.
• Requires 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures in warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Develops systems and procedures for safe, profitable operations.
• Manages operations to meet productivity and service goals and client SLAs.
• Drives Continuous Improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
• Leads hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Plans daily work schedules and reviews workload against priorities.
• Oversees budgeting, cost controls, and safety compliance.
