Job summary

DSV is seeking an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day site operations, including warehousing, receiving, and shipping, while aligning with service and cost objectives. You will plan inbound/outbound volume, manage space, and supervise staff, training and performance evaluations in a fast-paced logistics environment.

This role requires 7 years in logistics, 5 years in supervision, a GED or high school diploma, and aBachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 7 years’ experience in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months.

Responsibilities

• Develop systems and procedures for safe, profitable operations in line with policies.
• Manage operations to meet productivity and service goals and client SLAs.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
• Meet client KPIs and comply with Quality system requirements.
• Supervise team fairly, provide coaching, and handle HR activities.
• Lead training programs and ensure adherence to SOPs and company standards.
• Maintain communication with senior management and client representatives.
